VARANASI+PRAYAGRAJ


Duration: 03 Nights/ 04 Days

Day 01: Varanasi Arrival & Temples tour
On the first day of your trip, you will be arriving at Varanasi Airport from where you will be transferred to the hotel. After check-in formalities at Hotel. Relax for sometime and get rid of all the tiredness from the journey.
Post lunch, Pay a visit to famous attractions of Varanasi like BHU, (Birla Temple, Bharat Kala Bhawan & Museum), Tulsi Manas Mandir, Tridev Temple, Sankat Mochan, Durga Temple, Hanuman Temple & The Bharat Mata Temple.Visit Dasashwamedh Ghat to see Ganga Aarti in the evening. Return to hotel. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 02: Sarnath & Ramnagar Fort
Early in the morning at 6.00 am, you will be taken to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple followed by Annapurna Temple & Kaal Bhairav Temple. Come back to hotel for breakfast. Relax in the hotel. Post lunch, proceed to Sarnath- a very important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, the place where Buddha gave his first sermon. Here we visit Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Archaeological Museum- famous for the four headed lion that was once on top of the Ashoka Pillar, Tibetan Buddhist Monastery- The peaceful and traditional Monastery. Later, visit Ramnagar Fort- It was built in the 18th century by the Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh, who was the ruler of Varanasi. The fort also houses a museum where you can see old artefacts, astrological clocks and razor-sharp swords. In the evening, return back to hotel. Overnight stay at Varanasi.

Day 03: Varanasi – Prayagraj
Today we proceed to Prayagraj- a beautiful city situated at the confluence of the Rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Upon arrival at Prayagraj, we visit Anand Bhavan- the former residence of Nehru family which has now been transformed into a museum showcasing various artefacts and articles of the era of Independence movement in India, Laying Hanuman Temple-The shrine is an underground pit which houses an enormous image of Lord Hanuman in a lying position. Further we enjoy boat ride in Triveni sangam and witness the beautiful view of Allahabad fort- It was built by Emperor Akbar. The fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna near the confluence with the river Ganges. Overnight stay at Prayagraj.

Distance – Varanasi to Prayagraj is 150 KM / 3-4 Hours 

Day 04: Prayagraj – Varanasi Departure
Have an early breakfast and check out from the hotel. It’s your last day of your short trip, so bid a sweet farewell to Varanasi in your own special way. Proceed to the airport /railway station to head back home.

Distance – Prayagraj to Varanasi Airport: 170 km (approx.) / 3-4 Hours
