SHIMLA-MANALI BY CAR (EX-DEL)


Duration:  05 NIGHTS / 06 DAYS

Day 01: Delhi to Shimla (Mall Road Attractions)
On the first day of your journey, you will be arriving at Delhi Airport / Railway Station from where, your family will be transferred to the town of Shimla. On reaching Shimla, you will proceed with the check-in process at Hotel. Relax for sometime and get rid of all the tiredness from the journey and then pay a visit to famous attractions of Mall Road such as Kali Bari Temple, Scandal Point, The Ridge, The Church, Jakhoo Temple (by Jakhoo ropeway) & Lakkar Bazar. Return back to hotel before evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.
Travel Tip – Do not miss out on Jakhoo Ropeway. Enjoy a mouth-watering snack at famous restaurants of Mall Road.

Day 02: Shimla Sightseeing & Kufri Sightseeing
Enjoy a delectable breakfast at the hotel and revive yourself as a refreshing day dedicated to local sightseeing of Shimla such as Sankat Mochan Temple, Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (Monday closed) also known as Vice Regal Lodge, Himalayan Bird Park, Summer Hill & Army Museum and then explore Kufri a sightseeing place very popular among tourists. Kufri attractions include Green Valley, Wild Flower Hall, Adventure Resort (Adventure Park) & Himalayan Nature Park (Mini Zoo). You can hire pony to explore Fagu Valley, Shooting Place, Apple Garden & Mahasu Peak. Return back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.

Day 03: Shimla – Manali
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed to Manali. Keep your cameras ready, there are many scenic spots as you pass by Beas River, you can capture those spots in your camera. Vaishnodevi Temple, Shawl Factory & Rafting Point is the next stop for river rafting lovers. These are some popular attractions at Kullu. Check in your hotel. Evening free at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay in Manali.

Distance – Shimla to Manali is 270 Kms / 8-9 Hours

Day 04: Half Day Local Manali Tour
Have breakfast in the morning, Relax sometime and then pay a visit to famous local attractions of Manali such as Hidimba Temple (Hidimba, wife of Bhim, was supposed to have lived there with her brother Hidimb, Vashisth Hot Water Spring (It is renowned for its temples and sulphur hot springs, endowed with great healing powers. The natural hot sulphur springs, with two separate bathing tanks for men and women are always full of tourists.), Club House (Games, Fun & ample entertainment await you & your kids at the Manali Club House, from Video games, Go Karting to River crossing spree), Van Vihar National Park (It is one of the most frequented attractions in Manali located favourably on the Mall Road, It is an ideal place for enjoying picnics and spending moments of repose with your loved ones. Visitors can indulge in boat rides in the park’s small pond. & Tibetan Monastery (The colourful Tibetan monastery is famous for its carpet-weaving unit where the residents, the immigrants from Tibet, produce handicrafts of various kinds that attract the tourists towards it.) Dinner & overnight stay in Manali.

Day 05: Day Trip to Solang Valley / Rohtang Pass
Start your day with a healthy breakfast in the hotel. From there, proceed to Solang Valley. En-route you pass by Nehru Kund, Palchan Village and other local areas. At Solang Valley, you can try adventure activities like paragliding, skiing, zorbing and snow motor bikes. Return back to hotel in evening. Enjoy the meal and have a memorable night in the hotel.

Optional Tour : If Rohtang Pass is closed, Atal Tunnel / Shishu Valley or Koksar Valley can also be explored on additional cost and subject to clearance of snow on this route.
Note: Rohtang Pass is closed from mid-November to mid-May every year and open for tourists most probably after third week of may. Check with your driver for the availability of vehicle passes as these passes are a must for Rohtang Pass.

Day 06: Manali – Delhi
After breakfast, check out of the Hotel and be transferred to Delhi Railway Station/Airport to connect your Train/Flight for further Journey.
Distance – Manali to Delhi is 570 Kms / 13-14 Hours
