VARANASI+PRAYAGRAJ


Duration: 04 Nights/ 05 Days

Day 01: Varanasi Arrival & Temples tour
On the first day of your trip, you will be arriving at Varanasi Airport from where you will be transferred to the hotel. After check-in formalities at Hotel. Relax for sometime and get rid of all the tiredness from the journey.
Post lunch, Pay a visit to famous attractions of Varanasi like BHU, (Birla Temple, Bharat Kala Bhawan & Museum), Tulsi Manas Mandir, Tridev Temple, Sankat Mochan, Durga Temple, Hanuman Temple & The Bharat Mata Temple.Visit Dasashwamedh Ghat to see Ganga Aarti in the evening. Return to hotel. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 02: Sarnath & Ramnagar Fort
Early in the morning at 6.00 am, you will be taken to visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple followed by Annapurna Temple & Kaal Bhairav Temple. Come back to hotel for breakfast. Relax in the hotel. Post lunch, proceed to Sarnath- a very important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, the place where Buddha gave his first sermon. Here we visit Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Archaeological Museum– famous for the four headed lion that was once on top of the Ashoka Pillar, Tibetan Buddhist Monastery– The peaceful and traditional Monastery. Later, visit Ramnagar Fort – It was built in the 18th century by the Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh, who was the ruler of Varanasi. The fort also houses a museum where you can see old artefacts, astrological clocks and razor-sharp swords. In the evening, return back to hotel. Overnight stay at Varanasi.

Day 03: Varanasi – Vindhyachal  – Prayagraj
After breakfast, Today you will proceed to Prayagraj- a beautiful city situated at the confluence of the Rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. If interested, En route you can also pay a short visit to Goddess Vindhyavasini Temple situated on the bank of river Ganga  at Vindhyachal in Mirzapur District. Later, drive to Prayagraj . Upon arrival at Prayagraj, you will visit Anand Bhavan– the former residence of Nehru family which has now been transformed into a museum showcasing various artefacts and articles of the era of Independence movement in India, Laying Hanuman Temple-The shrine is an underground pit which houses an enormous image of Lord Hanuman in a lying position. Further we enjoy boat ride in Triveni sangam and witness the beautiful view of Allahabad Fort– It was built by Emperor Akbar. The fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna near the confluence with the river Ganges. Overnight stay at Prayagraj.
Distance – Varanasi to Prayagraj is 150 KM / 3-4 Hours  

Day 04: Prayagraj – Chitrakoot – Prayagraj
After breakfast at hotel drive to Chitrakoot (Madhya Pradesh). According to Hindu Mythology Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana spent eleven and half years of their fourteen years of exile. Pay a visit to famous attractions of Chitrakoot such as Ram Ghat – situated near River Mandakini and do boating, Hanuman Dhara – It’s situated on a hillock, there are as many as 500 plus stairs to reach the temple, Kamadgiri Temple , Bharat Milap, Janaki Kund, etc. Later return to Prayagraj and overnight stay in Prayagraj.. 

Distance – Chitrakoot to Prayagraj one-way is 130 KM / 2-3 Hours
